題目

New Routes to Fast Quantum State Engineering

摘要

Fast and controllable quantum state engineering is crucial for quantum computation, quantum simulation, and quantum information processing. In this talk, I will present two recent works that explore unconventional approaches to accelerating quantum-state preparation beyond standard adiabatic protocols. First, I will discuss adaptable protocols for rapid coherent-state transport near the quantum speed limit. By employing a bang-bang-bang strategy with forward- and backward-moving trapping potentials, we demonstrate high-fidelity state transport significantly faster than conventional approaches, offering new insights into fast quantum control in trapped-ion and neutral-atom platforms. Second, I will present our recent study of informational Mpemba effects in driven-dissipative non-Hermitian qubit systems. Counterintuitively, initially more mixed states can relax toward purified steady states faster than less mixed ones. By harnessing engineered collective dissipation and subradiant many-body modes, we reveal mechanisms that accelerate both state purification and multipartite entanglement generation. Together, these works demonstrate new routes toward fast and scalable quantum-state engineering through the interplay of coherent control and engineered dissipation.
